Answers to the questions we get most often about the book and your purchase. If yours is not here, write to support@silentroom.ai — see Contact Us for hours and response times.

The book

What is We’ve All Become Prompt Engineers about?

How to talk to language models — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Grok — in a way that gets you answers worth keeping. It teaches you to write a prompt the way you would write a brief for a contractor, not a question over dinner.

What is inside?

About 400 pages: a prologue, six lessons, and two appendices. The lessons cover how a model actually processes what you write, the three core techniques (zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought), roles and system prompts, decomposition and agents, hallucinations and prompt injection, and iteration, templates, and token economics. Every example was tested across the five models named above.

Do I need to know programming or math?

No. If you can write an email, you can read this book. The examples come from law, medicine, history, marketing, and writing — not from a terminal.

Will it go out of date when the next model ships?

The book teaches a method — decomposition, roles, verification, iteration — rather than tricks for one product. The techniques worked on GPT-3, work on today’s models, and will work on whatever ships next. Model names change; the craft doesn’t.

Who wrote it?

Arsen Revazov — writer, filmmaker, and editor-in-chief of SilentRoom Journal. More on our About Us page.

Buying and delivery

What formats do I get?

PDF and EPUB, both included in one purchase, DRM-free. Read on a Kindle, iPad, laptop, or phone — whatever is open.

What happens right after I pay?

Payment is handled by Stripe. After it completes, you are taken to a secure download page, and the same download links are sent to the email address you used at checkout. No account or login is required.

The email did not arrive

Check spam and promotions folders first. If it is not there within an hour, write to support@silentroom.ai from the address you used at checkout and we will resend the links.

How do I open the files on my device?

The PDF opens in any PDF reader. The EPUB opens in Apple Books, Google Play Books, Kobo, and most e-reader apps; for Kindle, use Amazon’s “Send to Kindle” or the Kindle app’s import.

Do I get a receipt or invoice?

Stripe emails a receipt automatically after payment. If you need an invoice with company details, write to support@silentroom.ai with your order email and the details to include.

Is there a print edition?

Not yet. The digital edition is early access; a print edition is planned, and buyers of the digital edition will hear about it first.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes. We offer a 14-day refund window with the conditions that apply to digital products, described in the Refund Policy. Requests go to support@silentroom.ai.
